Ingredients:
10–12 ice cubes
1 cup frozen fruit of your choice (e.g., berries, mango, or pineapple)
3 scoops vanilla protein powder
100 ml milk (or more as needed)
Extra frozen fruit (optional, for mixing through)
Method:
Crush the Ice: Place the ice cubes in a blender and blitz until they are crushed into small pieces.
Add Fruit: Add 1 cup of your chosen frozen fruit to the blender and give it a quick blitz to combine.
Incorporate Protein Powder: Add the vanilla protein powder. Start blending and slowly pour in 100 ml of milk. Continue blending for 2–3 minutes until the mixture becomes fluffy. If the texture is too powdery, add a little more milk, scraping down the sides as needed.
Mix in Extra Fruit: For added texture, mix in a small handful of frozen fruit. Most of this will stay whole, adding bursts of flavour to your fluff.
Serve or Store: This recipe makes a generous portion. Divide into two cups—one for an afternoon snack and one to freeze for later when those evening munchies strike!
Tip: Store the extra portion in the freezer. It makes an amazing frozen treat whenever you’re craving something sweet.
