He was stiff and sore, and his range of motion was very limited. Then one day he bumped into Michael, and it changed everything.
Ali started personal training and five months in, he’s now 36 kilos lighter, and counting. “The first couple of sessions I was nervous. But Michael made me feel comfortable very quickly.
Michael tailored a program to make it work for my body and now I look forward to it” says Ali.
Five months into his training with Michael and Ali is consistently losing 2kg per week. He’s now lost 36 kilos training four days per week. Ali says his mobility, flexibility, range of motion and endurance have all improved massively.
“I don’t pant to catch my breath. I feel a lot better and can do a lot more now than I used to be able to do.”
“Michael has been brilliant. I wanted someone who would go beyond showing me how to lift weights. I wanted someone to guide me. He is informative and I never feel like I ask too many questions.
He is always touching base with me. He messages me outside of training and encourages me to stay in touch too. If we hit it hard at the gym, he’ll ask me how I’m feeling the next day”.
“I love training with Michael because he really loves what he does. He is a great people person. He explains things. He understands the struggle. He’s not too hard on you. He doesn’t sit and stare at me while I go through the motions, he makes it fun. He doesn’t take the training too seriously either. He really cares, I’ve always felt that.”
